Glen Faedo, more commonly known by his onstage moniker, DJ Glen, has quickly become one of the most popular voices in the dance music scene in his native Brazil, known for his expert fusion of the grittier sounds of techno and the groovy, often upbeat sounds of his take on house. Born in São Paulo, Faedo began DJing at just 14, quickly amassing a following and playing shows around his local area. In the 2000’s, the artist tried his hand at production, and—finding he had the same zest for his own creations as he did for DJing—he began to enter international competitions, ultimately taking home the prize at a Resident Advisor sponsored remix contest.
Since then, Faedo’s career has been nothing short of prolific. His discography spans singles, EPs, and a full length album, and he’s had releases on a variety of notable labels including Green Velvet’s Cajual Records, Claude Vonstroke’s Dirtybird Records, Anime Edge & DANCE’s CUFF, and Mr. Nice Guy Records. He’s also known for his collaborations with his wife and fellow DJ/producer, Nana Torres, as well as with artists including illusionize—with whom he released the hit “First Time” in 2019 on Spinnin’ Records—Bruno Furlan, Destructo, Korvo, Mason, ZAC, and many more. In addition to his own releases, Faedo’s tracks are often the subject of remixes and have garnered reimaginings from the likes of Niko Schwind, Phonix, Halfcab, G. Fellix, Andre Gazolla, David Museen, Eric Christiansen, and many more.
Currently, Faedo is at the helm of his very own label, Discotech Records, and continues to play shows all over the world. Thus far in his career, he’s graced the stages at venues like Miami’s Club Space, Amsterdam’s Club Up, and many clubs and nightlife spots across Brazil. DJ Glen is also a regular at Dirtybird Campout and has played a variety of other festivals in Brazil and beyond.
